A glowing pink rose quartz carved and beaded gemstone necklace from the late 1920's to early 1930's. The centerpiece pendant features carved fruits and also serves as the closure having the tongue in groove slide clasp on the reverse. The neck is hand knotted and features cubes of rose quartz and sparkling small faceted clear crystal beads. The frame for the carving is solid 14k yellow gold, as is the clasp. The clasp is marked 14k and works securely. It is in very good condition. The string appears secure. The quartz is a mineral and you can see some natural inclusions in the carved centerpiece which are magnified in the photos. The neck length is 16", the pendant is 2"x1.5".
